Primal Tourism (2016) is a virtual reality art project by Danish artist Jakob Kudsk Steensen who founded the eco-story telling studio Erratic Animist. The core of the project is an exact and full-scale virtual replica of the iconic tourist island Borabora in French Polynesia.
As Erratic Animist's producer I teamed up with Jakob, Serpentine Galleries, Proudfoot and many other talented individuals to host a two hour visit to the virtual island with everything being live-streamed to twitch.
